Today we read Milly and the Macy's Parade and Balloons Over Broadway to learn how the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade began.  Students worked in a group to design a balloon for our classroom parade and to create a device to keep their balloon floating in the air.  Each group made a plan, created their balloon and device, and then tested their creation by marching in our parade!
